    With interest rates still being within historically low ranges and the Federal Reserve still purchasing MBS (mortgage backed securities), interest rates are set to stay within 4.75% and 5.5% atleast until April 1, 2010 when the Federal Reserve may end its purchases of MBS. The act of the Federal Reserve purchasing MBS have artificially kept rates at their historic lows but will almost certainly begin a relatively steep increase through the middle of 2010. All of this means that NOW is the time to refinance or purchase your home.
